Want to contribute to our blogs?

We welcome great ideas for our blogs and print edition. The easiest and best way for you to find your way onto CL's blogs with a byline is to have a solid idea. In addition, you'll need to know which blog would publish your idea – and what the blog's tone and topics tend to be. That means you need to be thoroughly familiar with our blogs. That's right, you have to regularly read them!

For a little help, check out the descriptions of our blogs, and the content our editors are seeking. Think there's something we should be covering on one of our blogs that you don't see described below? Submit your idea, anyway! We're interested in those, too.

Crib Notes

CL's music blog keeps readers informed about music news and views, artists and events—in Atlanta and beyond—in a voice that is sometimes irreverent but always relevant.

Culture Surfing

CL's A&E blog provides arts and entertainment news, features and commentary about Atlanta and beyond. We aim to deliver the right balance of the zany and the critical; the hyperlocal and the nationally recognized. We're nerds for shows like "Lost", "24", and "True Blood", and staunch supporters of the local arts scene at the same time. Culture Surfing casts a wide net, but does so with a keen eye, sharp wit and some smarty pants!

Fresh Loaf

CL's news blog offers insight into all things related to Atlanta news and city life. Topics include local politics, the environment, crime and transportation – as well as the city's history, its quirks and its ever-changing identity. We're interested in everything from the perils plaguing Atlanta's neighborhoods to the scandals dogging the city's rich and famous to the intuitive observations that help us better understand the place we call home.

Omnivore Atlanta

CL's food blog is a space dedicated to the discussion of food, restaurants and life, and the intersection of food and culture. We use the space to deliver thoughts and musings on the Atlanta scene, the national scene and the role food plays in our lives. It's also a space for news and points of interest that we think readers will appreciate. Honesty, thoughtfulness and heart are the guiding principles.

Screen Grab

Screen Grab is Creative Loafing's new Movies & TV blog, we'll post teasers to our weekly film reviews by award-winning critic Curt Holman, TV show recaps on series like "Lost", HBO's "Big Love", and of course, a heavy dose of in-depth reality TV analysis – oh and expect random bits of visually stimulating mischief.
